Image
Script: What was the task: The task was to write a script which would continue to develop the idea of my story and my treatment. What did I learn: I learned the formatting of a script and how to write a script using different styles. I learned how using a script can also help me to develop and change ideas that were in my treatment. How will this help me in the future: This helped me as using a script allowed me to develop how my film would work and the different scenes that I was going to use in my film.

Storyboard: What was the task: The task was to create a storyboard that showed how my film would look and to work out relevant information such as the types of shots and movements that I would use. I also learned the importance of a storyboard to a film as this sets out key elements of the types of shots I will use in my film and how long each take will last. How will this help me in the future: This will help me in the future as this was a visual representation of my plan for my film which allowed me to be able to see how my film would plan out.

What did I learn: I learned how to effectively write a treatment for story and the ways of writing a treatment (for example writing the start and the end first and then using those to work out what to put in the middle of my film) How will this help me in the future: This will help me in the future as this would allow me to have a central idea of how to frame my film and what ideas I could use to elevate my film to a higher standard. This would also help me in the future as if I was to make another short film, I'd use the treatment as my starting point to develop my ideas. The short film opens with the sound of the clock ticking in the early hours of the morning and the protagonist awakens suddenly. This is repeated a couple of times with the protagonist react
